Sun through bushfire smoke

Introduction

Fire and rain, koalas and Aussie animal deaths have been the big feature in news services for many weeks, with many of you asking us to comment on the situation. To do that we have contacted fire fighters, sourced multiple media references, talked to experts amongst our supporters as well as being involved in clearing underbrush, donating to victims and praying. Especially when requested by our local political member who is a Christian. Be wise in how you use the following information on the fire scene downunder as you care, share and keep us in prayer around the globe.

We look forward to partnering with you during 2020 as you continue to support the work we do, downunder and in many countries around the globe.

From the Creation Guy, John Mackay, 15 January 2020.

Key Points

1. Are we safe?

2 “…. the ones who demand the forests must be protected from man to save the animals … have ended up killing all three!”

3. Beware the theft of the age-old concept of changing cimate, which everyone has experienced if they are older than 20 (or read history), in order to enforce acceptance of the modern naturalist philosophy that humans alone have caused it, and anybody who disagrees must be severely castigated.

4. What fire fighters say – we asked them!

5. Kuddles Koala replaces Polar Bear Pete emotivator.

6. Ex atheist says prayer saved them. Most media ignoring this, and any church leaders who are calling for prayer.

7. BIBLICAL SUPPLEMENT Is it time to ponder God’s judgement? Or an opportunity for His salvation? God’s Word on forest fires such as: Ezekiel 15:6-8 “Therefore thus says the Lord God : ‘Like the wood of the vine among the trees of the forest, which I have given to the fire for fuel, so I will give up the inhabitants of Jerusalem; and I will set My face against them. They will go out from one fire, but another fire shall devour them. Then you shall know that I am the Lord.” …PLUS … “Say unto them, As I live, says the Lord God, I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked; but that the wicked turn from his way and live: turn, turn from your evil ways; for why will you die, O house of Israel?” (Ezekiel 33:11).

REPORT DETAILS

Creation Research Headquarters in Australia – Safe!
My Grandson Ben and I have been out many days removing any fire fuel load (broken branches, excess undergrowth, massive drought leaf fall) from below trees. As well as pumping from our dam to minimise any threat. Very time and labour intensive. Our dam is currently half full. We had one inch (25mls) of rain on Christmas Eve, Praise the Lord. No run off yet, but our spring is still running … just. There is bushfire damage approximately 1.6 kilometres (one mile) away from HQ, but that fire is well out and no further outbreak has been reported. Good news more rain 15mls (3/5inch) Saturday 11th and this morning (15th) we have had 40mls (1⅗inches). Thank You Jesus.

Jurassic Ark – Safe
This site, about 200km north of the Creation Research HQ, is however much drier. The cost of watering gardens across 20 acres in the high Aussie summer is incredible, and very time consuming, and the dam is now only a quarter full. The first groups visiting JA museum for the New Year started the second week of January. Pray for blessing and rain. Two more groups this week.

FIRE AND DROUGHT – CAUSES

Human Factors: Over the weekend of 4th – 5th January, two adults were reportedly arrested for starting six fires. The day before, one fire fighter was arrested for lighting seven fires. My brother’s house was in the midst of a huge fire zone deliberately lit by two teenagers. According to news sources as of 6th January, 54 people had been arrested in relation to fires.

Leading Queensland Fire Fighter reports (11th Jan 2020): In Queensland alone this season there have been 98 people charged with arson or fire related offences including breaching Local Fire Ban Orders. Over 60 were juveniles. At least three were serious – two at Peregian Springs and one near Bundaberg.

These numbers may change as police and fire authorities continue investigations.

At one fire zone I (John Mackay) found six burned and empty cartons of cigarette products spread over approx. 100m (110yards). Such things have often been used to provide slow burning fuses to allow ‘pyros’ to escape. The fire closest to our property seems to have been lit deliberately, but no culprit is known to us. Bushfires have previously burnt right to our property line, with one grass fire (accidently started ) that burnt down our back block, so by comparison this has been an easy year in our area. Sadly, not so for many.

Lightning Strikes: Since lightning strikes across Oz are measured and recorded, now ‘some that claim to know’ argue that there has been little dry lightning in the last month in fire regions to cause fires, and no damp piles of grass to self-combust. But a head Fire Fighter known to us disputes that claim stating; “I have personally been to five fires started by lightning, and I am aware of at least 10 others. Two I attended took three weeks to get under control, one is still being watched after six weeks as it is very much alive, but within containment lines. Another re-ignited the other day after four weeks of inactivity. By far the largest number of ignitions have been by lightning, power lines fault, accident, or foolishness.”

Politics: Fire fighters’ biggest complaint has been why was such a huge ‘fuel load’ was allowed to build up in bushland and private properties in the first place, when it should have been burnt off or cleared in safer times. The sad answer is greenie ‘tree hugger’ politics at all levels preventing landowners and fire service personnel from properly managing the land. Sad, but true, and a helpful insight into widespread claims the fires are ‘proof’ of manmade climate change.

Green Policy: Discussions with experienced fire fighters also reveal a common problem with local councils that run with a green agenda, even when there are no Green Party politicians on board: all planned burn-offs have been a nightmare to get authorised, and many have been delayed till too late. With one fire region having been denied burn-off permits for the last 4years. Add this to the last year’s dry weather and the combination has been a firebomb waiting to blow.

It seems that the ones who demand the forests must be protected from man to save the animals have ended up killing all three.

Leading fire fighter shared: “The Koala Foundation tore strips off QNPWS (Queensland Parks and Wildlife) after a hazard reduction fire in an area well known for lightning strikes. The burn off was ferocious even then, and we all commented that on a bad day deaths would result. The silence from the Koala Foundation at present is deafening.”

The same Australian Koala Foundation (AKF) has gone to press (post fires) claiming there are now no more than 80,000 koalas left in Australia, which makes them “virtually or functionally extinct”. Animal experts we have contacted regard this claim as a nonsense statement, as they would be happy to have 80,000 of any endangered critter.

Billions of animals ‘factually’ reported as killed, when such figures are obviously plucked out of the air as a singed Kuddles Koala replaces Polar Bear Pete as the ‘pluck your heart strings’ emotivator symbol of climate change being man made!

Correlations? The worst fires and death tolls, human, koala, livestock, to date are in the States with highest abortion rates, biggest pro homosexual attitudes, demonstrably anti-Christian policies and are most Greta-green.

California Fires 2019  It’s interesting to compare USA and Oz cause and consequence, politics and power. I was in California at the end of last year when bush fires were raging. Accusations about high fuel load were all but ignored by climate change gurus, with local accusations about the ineptness of political controls, and wasteful water diversions based on greeny issues. It all had a very similar ring. Some Californians many years ago also made the decision to import Aussie gum trees, which grow well in their wet winter, then burn like crazy in their dry summer. It certainly adds a spectacular similarity to many of their fires. BUT a big thank you to all US and Canadian fire fighters who travelled to Australia to help our burning country.

PRAYER NEEDS

For the many Christian farmers suffering terribly as a result of continuing drought, and stupid politics. For those who have lost houses and loved ones in this disaster. Many church leaders are so blinded by ‘man made climate change’ philosophies they are not even heard calling for prayer, as God is deliberately left fully out of the picture in ‘climate change’ politics.

Many of today’s generation do not know that much of Australia was like manicured parkland when Europeans first arrived due to Aboriginal burn off policy, and this was recorded in both picture and print. When I was a kid we burned off to prevent the fire problem green policies are making now! Pray our leaders will retake up the pragmatic practise of burning off the land on a regular basis. Thankfully, the Prime Minister, Scott Morrison, has announced he is changing the previous green policy of low-key burn-offs, but he will have to reconstruct the power hierarchy from national to state to local for this legislative change to achieve anything.

The Biggest Prayer Need is for national repentance. The Prime Minister, who claims to be a Christian, has so far offered only secular comments in consolation, but has not called the nation to prayer, to his shame.

Blessings, and thanks again for your concern and your prayers.
John Mackay.

FURTHER COMMENTS

A New Friend to Creation Research who has his Masters of Science in climatology, adds an interesting insight to the climate issue sharing: “Now that I’ve become a Christian, it makes a whole heap of difference to our climate models when we throw Noah’s Flood into the mix. The biggest impact on climate that’s being willingly ignored is water-vapour”. Extra discussions with him only add to the fact that CO2 has basically no harmful impact on climate whatsoever.

Disaster Scale as media proclaims these ‘the worst fires ever’ … but a quick check of insurance figures for past fires reveals the 7th February 1967 Tasmanian Black Tuesday fires, killed 62 people in one day, injured 900, destroyed 1200 houses and left 7000 homeless, cost Insurers over 2 billion dollars. We are nowhere near that at present (15th Jan 2020). ‘Worst fire season ever’ … has been a constant headline in the Australian Media as far back as I can remember.

Flaming Emotions show as hatred flares in the acid footprints of Greta Thunberg’s vocal activities. Raw rage flung at our prime minister. Greenies reported in media as cheering while timber mill burns down.

Who Will Tell Them? At a recent ‘Fund Raiser Concert’ for bush fire victims I attended and donated to, an Aboriginal native introduced the event with strong claims that Australia was their country and had been forever! The same happened at a large “Christian” College Downunder who have opened their assembly with an Aboriginal “call to Nation” proclaiming Australia as Aboriginal forever.

So, a challenge to Christians (both Aboriginal and Europeans) who wonder why God is not listening to their prayers for rain: will you be brave enough to tell any Aboriginals proclaiming they have always been here, that they are talking rubbish. Then start with Adam, sin and Noah’s flood!

Can you be bold enough to tell them they came from India and brought their nature spiritism with them, which they had imported directly from Babel.

Are you strong enough to tell them it is Christ alone, who provides both the rain, as well as the only ‘forever’ security, exclusively available only through this same Jesus Christ. The world is His because He made it and it is doubly His because He died for it.

As long as Aussie politicians and church leaders pander to the naturist spiritism of Aboriginal culture, or to European materialism, Indian mysticism or secular scientism with its gay rights and de-gender agenda, we Aussies deserve nothing more than drought and pestilence, because most of us Christians are not brave enough to speak out.

Fiery Roo Cull: as a friend took a fencing job in the western farmlands just before recent fires. His task was to fence a very large farm area where kangaroos have caused huge damage to crops. His observation: kangaroos were at plague proportions.

The Ploy? Beware the theft of the age old concept of Changing Climate, (which everyone has experienced if they are older than 20, or read history), in order to enforce acceptance of 1) the modern naturalist philosophy that humans alone have caused it, and 2) anybody who disagrees must be severely castigated by society!

What they say isn’t what they mean. ‘Climate Change’ is still code for Man Made Global Warming.

BIBLE SUPPLEMENT

God On Drought:

Amos 4:7-8
“I made it rain on one city,
I withheld rain from another city.
One part was rained upon,
And where it did not rain the part withered.
8 So two or three cities wandered to another city to drink water,
But they were not satisfied;
Yet you have not returned to Me,” says the Lord

2 Chronicles 7:12-15
“Then the Lord appeared to Solomon by night, and said to him: “I have heard your prayer, and have chosen this place for Myself as a house of sacrifice. 13 When I shut up heaven and there is no rain, or command the locusts to devour the land, or send pestilence among My people, 14 if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.”

Haggai 1:11
For I called for a drought on the land and the mountains, on the grain and the new wine and the oil, on whatever the ground brings forth, on men and livestock, and on all the labour of your hands.”

God Regarding Fire

Isaiah 30:30
The Lord will cause His glorious voice to be heard,
And show the descent of His arm,
With the indignation of His anger
And the flame of a devouring fire,
With scattering, tempest, and hailstones.

Jeremiah 21:11-14
“And concerning the house of the king of Judah, say, ‘Hear the word of the Lord , 12 O house of David! Thus says the Lord :….
14 But I will punish you according to the fruit of your doings,” says the Lord ;
“I will kindle a fire in its forest,
And it shall devour all things around it.”‘”

Ezekiel 15:6-8
“Therefore thus says the Lord God : ‘Like the wood of the vine among the trees of the forest, which I have given to the fire for fuel, so I will give up the inhabitants of Jerusalem; 7 and I will set My face against them. They will go out from one fire, but another fire shall devour them. Then you shall know that I am the Lord
…PLUS … “Say unto them, As I live, says the Lord God, I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked; but that the wicked turn from his way and live: turn, turn  from your evil ways; for why will you die, O house of Israel?” (Ezekiel 33:11).

Joel 1:19-20
“O Lord , to You I cry out;
For fire has devoured the open pastures,
And a flame has burned all the trees of the field.
20 The beasts of the field also cry out to You,
For the water brooks are dried up,
And fire has devoured the open pastures.”

Revelation 8:7
“The first angel sounded: And hail and fire followed, mingled with blood, and they were thrown to the earth. And a third of the trees were burned up, and all green grass was burned up.”
