Trilobite discovery shows the unique calcite eye lens of at least one species ‘dalmanitina socialis’ had a central bulge which had the optic properties of a ‘bifocal lens’ according to Gal, Horvath, Clarkson and Haiman, Vision Research (2000), Vol 40, Issue 7, pps.843-53.

Editorial Comment: The more we find out about the optic systems of creatures which the evolutionist treats as primitive, the more amazingly complex and modern they appear. These eyes are probably without any known evolutionary ancestry. (Ref. Trilobites, optics, evolution)
