The AIDS problem: according to CNN December 1st 1999 (New Zealand,) 8 million children have lost both parents to AIDS, 13 million have lost one parent, 11 million children have AIDS and there are 33 million AIDS patients world wide. In Africa the average life span has dropped from 60 to 40 in a country where AIDS is largely associated with the promiscuity of men.

Editorial Comment: AIDS is one of those diseases where the moral cause, and the tragic consequences on the innocent, show that the simple moral solution is to get back to doing sex God’s way. His rule is don’t be promiscuous. This is just as true with the homosexual relationship to AIDS in much of the Western World. The Scripture has always been true which said “be sure your sins will find you out” and “the sins of the fathers will visit upon the children to the third and fourth generations”. God has created this world in such a way that there is privilege and responsibility in fatherhood. When it is abused, it is not only the father who suffers; the price is often paid by innocent children. The stopping of promiscuity and homosexuality would be the biggest single step in stopping the spread of AIDS. (Ref. AIDS, promiscuity, homosexuality)
