Obama’s homosexual pride month decreed, according to a Presidential Proclamation issued 28 May 2010. Barrack Obama has declared the June 2010 to be Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender Pride Month. In the proclamation praising the contributions to society made by Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender (LGBT) Americans he wrote: “Much work remains to fulfil our Nation’s promise of equal justice under law for LGBT Americans. That is why we must give committed gay couples the same rights and responsibilities afforded to any married couple, and repeal the Defense of Marriage Act.” Obama also wants to change the law to secure adoption rights for “LGBT Americans,” and stated: “I am also committed to ending “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” so patriotic LGBT Americans can serve openly in our military, and I am working with the Congress and our military leadership to accomplish that goal.”
Editorial Comment: Obama may have been voted the legal authority to set up or repeal laws in a USA which was created by the acts of men, but Obama has no authority to re-define marriage which was created by an act of the God who made human beings as male and female, and proclaimed marriage to be the union of one man and one woman (Genesis 1:26-27, 2:24). This is affirmed by Jesus Christ who stated “at the beginning the Creator ‘made them male and female’, and said, ‘For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh’” (Matthew 19:4-5).
Obama may occupy the most powerful human office in the world, but one day he will have to answer to the One who really does have all authority in heaven and earth (Matthew 28:18), becasause this Creator, Jesus Christ, is coming again to judge the living and the dead and He totally disapproves of homosexual behaviour.
