“To have people believe the biology of the planet is controlled by a Creator, I think that’s dangerous”

Michael Majerus, (1954-2009), Cambridge University moth expert, reported in Science, vol. 304, 25 June 2004

Editorial Comment: We wonder whether Majerus had the same reservations about human scientists who are trying to control the biology of the planet by genetic engineering, cloning and other creative processes. It is irrational to entrust our biological future to the creative abilities of human beings who are limited in both power and wisdom, but then claim it is dangerous to acknowledge the true Creator who is infinitely powerful and wise. What Majerus and other anti-creationists really don’t want to acknowledge is any Creator who is ultimately in control of them. (Ref. quotes, philosophy, atheism)
