“Darwin was right” shouts Dawkins et al in New Scientist, Letters, 21 February 2009, p24 in reaction to the 24 January 2009New Scientist cover proclaiming ‘Darwin was Wrong’ and containing an article on how Darwin’s (and Dawkins) simple to complex evolutionary tree has a few problems such as; “The tree of life is not something that exists in nature, it’s a way that humans classify nature.” (W. Ford Doolittle, Dalhousie University, Halifax, Nova Scotia) and “We have no evidence at all that the tree of life is a reality.” (Eric Bapteste, Evolutionary biologist, Pierre & Marie Curie University); and “The tree of life is being politely buried, we all know that.” and “What’s less accepted is that our whole fundamental view of biology needs to change.” (Michael Rose, Evolutionary biologist, University of California, Irvine)

Editorial Comment: When the Dawk squawks the jury awards one to the creationists every time.
