Unpopular science: New Scientist 24 April 1999 and 8 May 1999 reports outrage by many in the science community at the recent inclusion of topics such as Celtic myths, UFO’s, astrology and prophecies from Tutankhamen’s tomb in the “popular science” sections of some large bookshops. W. H. Smith’s bookshop in London Bridge Station UK even has various editions of the Bible at the beginning of its popular science section.
Editorial Comment: At least they have one part right.
