Fishy family tree article in Nature vol. 397, 18 February 1999 asks where did bony fishes come from, and includes the statement “However, as you trace these groups backwards in time through the fossil record the lobe fin fishes become more diverse until in the Devonian period, 408-363 million years ago, you find a wide range of lobe fins alongside just a few ray fins. But then the record stops abruptly”.

Editorial Comment: Lobe fin fishes today include only the African, Australian and South American lung fishes plus the coelecanth. Their known fossil pattern is the opposite of evolution. It starts out with many types and ends with a few. If you are looking for evidence that the world was created perfect and both physical and moral degeneration have followed man’s rebellion against God the Creator, then it fits.
