Aboriginal boxer Mundine says gays should die, according to the Courier Mail (Queensland, Australia) 9 February 2018, p23.

Anthony Mundine is an Australian boxer, described by the Courier Mail as a “high profile Muslim and self-styled Aboriginal leader”.  According to Mundine homosexuality is banned in Islam and forbidden in Aboriginal culture, and those practicing it should be given the death penalty.  He is also against homosexuals being on TV, even as characters, as this will influence children to want to be gay.

Editorial Comment: The Courier Mail also quotes Mundine: “I talk the truth.  It is the system.  I don’t care if you are gay or not, it doesn’t worry me because the creator will judge you later.” The very aggressively vocal Mundine is right about a coming judgement, but not from the god Allah he now worships.

The true Creator is the Lord Jesus Christ, who made male and female, and designed marriage to be one man and one woman for life.  (See Genesis 2 and Matthew 19).  Further on, in the law of Moses, the One True God specifically condemns homosexual behaviour (Leviticus 18:22).  The Bible writers also warn that this same Christ will judge all who have defied Him in any aspect of human behaviour, but unlike Allah, this Jesus offers forgiveness and restoration to all who repent of their sin, and make Him Lord of their lives.
